Clemens Fuchs: Applications of the Subspace Theorem

In this talk I will give an overview on some results on Diophantine problems (especially Diophantine equations of exponential-polynomial type) related with linear recurring sequences which I obtained by using W.M. Schmidt`s famous Subspace Theorem during the last years. The talk will also contain newer results on the equation $ G_n(x)=G_m(y)$ with integers $ n,m$, where $ x,y$ are algebraically dependent and where $ (G_n(x))$ is a linear recurring sequence of polynomials.
