From the Vienna airport to the railway station (Westbahnhof)
The canonical way is to take a bus to Westbahnhof.
You may may also take a train to Landstrasse/Wien Mitte and
change here to the subway U3 (direction Ottakring) which has a stop at
Westbahnhof.
From Vienna (Westbahnhof) to Bad Ischl
Trains leave in Vienna (Westbahnhof)
at least every hour from 5:30 to 18:34.
You have to change to a side line in Attnang-Puchheim.
Trains to Vienna leave in Bad Ischl hourly from
04:42 to 21:02. (Again you have to change in Attnang-Puchheim.)
