Bernhard Burgstaller: Higher rank Cuntz-Krieger algebras

The classical Cuntz-Krieger algebras are non-commutative algebras which are associated with shifts of finite type. Recently and possibly motivated by the raising interest in higher dynamical systems ( ${\mathbb{Z}}^d$-actions), higher rank analogous of Cuntz-Krieger algebras have appeared. We introduce an approach to such higher rank Cuntz-Krieger algebras.
