Rolf Riesinger (1945-2018)

Curriculum vitae
Rolf Riesinger was born on November 1st, 1945. He studied Mathematics and Descriptive Geometry at the Vienna University of Technology (Technische Hochschule Wien) and the University of Vienna. He obtained a Master Degree from the University of Vienna. In 1973, Riesinger defended his doctoral thesis Verallgemeinerte zirkulare und verallgemeinerte zyklische quadratische Komplexe, which was supervised by Heinrich Brauner, at the Vienna University of Technology.
Rolf Riesinger was Student Assistant and Assistant at the First Institute of Geometry from 1967 until 1979. After leaving the university he remained an active researcher.
He passed away after a long desease on September 20th, 2018.
